Teaching and promoting healthy sexuality is one way we can all do our part to end sexual violence. In a national survey, 87% of 18-to-24 year-olds reporting experiencing gender-based violence but 79% reported they never been talked to by parents or teachers about how to avoid sexually harassing or degrading others. When we teach healthy sexuality, we are providing children of all ages with the tools they need to understand the role respect and consent play in their interactions with others.
